well, I tried about 10 minutes of Sonic Chronicles... Blech. I don't even know if fangirling can inspire me to play it. The movement system has already thrown me off. The touch-screen shit? No thank you. RPG or no, it's a damn Sonic game. Let me use the fucking directional buttons.
I figured playing it after Mario and Luigi would cause me some disappointment, but I didn't realize how much of a disappointment.
So anyway, night ya'll. Early shift tomorrow. It's been insane at that place. Nonstop.

The How's My Driving? Meme
Another day of work today.
Tomorrow we're starting 9AM-9PM Sundays! Whooo! What sucks about this is that I work in a strip mall, and all of the other stores close at 5~6PM. Awesome! We'll be the only store open at such a late hour, I really don't know how safe that is. :( Hum, well I can't complain if I'm able to afford Christmas presents and paying off bills. I'll be so happy once I've paid off my credit card and my best buy card. I'll just have to worry about my car payments and misc. things after that.
STILL WORKING ON MY STATEMENT OF PURPOSE. OH GOD.
I will take that to work with me and hopefully edit it and finish my homework! Oh, and study a bit of Chinese, I have to stay on task at school! :)

So, if any of you that play TF2 still haven't done the Halloween achievements and want to farm them, let me know.
4 out of 5 are fairly quick, it's just the last one that takes a while.
old.ocrtf2.com:27015 is running 24/7 Harvest Event (the map needed for 3 of the 5 achievements) until it ends or the server is shut off.

Ow, I think I pulled a muscle in my shoulder blade area yesterday night. I suddenly got this intense feeling of pain on my back yesterday, so I went to bed early. It's still sorta there... I better take some medicine with me to work today. I want to be productive, not act like a sloth. Lately it's been really hard for me to get much done at work (well, "enough" to my standards) because I have so much on my mind. Chinese homework, JET application, bills, and I need to learn to manage time better. I haven't drawn anything seriously in a while and it aggravates me.
Anyway, I beat Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days this week. Disgaea 2 and I have an interesting relationship. I honestly dislike the story in the game, but here are some bullets on what I felt:
- The story is presented badly. The premise is really interesting and I think they could have done a lot with it, but it's just not there.
- Worst villain ever. Dude doesn't even have a name.
- Rozalin and Adell are both very interesting characters.
- I really like Rozalin this playthrough, I didn't pay too much attention to her at first but... I think she is a really good character.
- Fubuki is a terrible character. He doesn't really do anything. He's not interesting at all, I don't feel any empathy for him.
- Yukimaru is cute. I still like her name. Haha, snowball.
- Leveling is still addicting. :|
- Axel mode is... odd, interesting, but odd. I like the new classes.
I don't know. If it wasn't for the DLC that was coming up, I probably wouldn't have bothered. I really like these games, don't get me wrong, but Disgaea 2's gameplay is really all that keeps me going. That being said, I'm going to play it a lot. :> I still love Adell and Rozalin, I love playing with my characters, I love leveling! It's seriously soothing and fun to me. I don't know why. ♥

Over at Kotaku.com, I had looked at an article about the summons in Final Fantasy XIII and how they could turn into VEHICLES. Why, the only thing cooler than that would be to have the summons turning into trendy outfits your characters can wear.

In the end, that happened to be true. By the end of my first drink, I was smashed. XD It was swell. I don't like the sickness, but the room spinning and the wobbling is pretty damn fun. X3~~~
Mm hm. So yes. This weekend was swell. Aside from a bout of depression when Sparky realized she needed to leave earlier than planned to stop a guy (Mexican?) from ripping the plaster off the outside of her house in New Mexico in the morning. But that's okay. I went home and cleaned to get my mind off of it. Now the yard is poop-free! 83~~~

Yeah. I didn't have eyedrops, so those fuckers got really dry and practically glued to my corneas. Didn't help that I had fake nails on that I'd filed to sharp points for Halloween. Needless to say, I got frustrated enough to rip them all off. >__<;;; Argh. So now I've once again destroyed all my progress.
On the bright side, these contacts are much better than what I remember from years ago, when I was using a gardening hose to soak my eyeballs every ten seconds. These are those new self-hydrating/oxygenated contacts for people with dry eyes. So far they're working swell. Insurance won't cover them, but that's all right. Then I don't have to wear glasses with a bikini anymore. XD;;;

One of the first guests I helped today gave me shit about her return. She had an opened ipod Nano and we can't return opened electronic items! That's just the way it goes. She of course threw a fit and gave us the typical "I spend a lot of money here" "I'll never shop here again" and a NEW one I've never heard, especially from her age group:
"When I get home, I'm getting on Facebook and telling everyone not to shop here." LOL.
It got to the point that the guest behind her finally stepped in, saying "That's the policy at pretty much every store you go to, ma'am. Wal*mart, Target, Best Buy... if you open something electronic you can't return it. It's the same for video games."
"Well, I knew about the games. I knew that." Then why in God's name would we return something three times the price of a game?!
I just love when guests go to bat for me :P LOL one guest waited patiently during the whole thing because I was attempting to help her before that whole fiasco happened. When it was all said and done she actually gave me a hug XD; And another said "I can't believe you are so calm."
I never freak out about stuff one should freak out about XD I sweat the small shit.

I forgot my phone at home today, so sorry to those that texted me and didn't get an answer. I have the worst headache ever so I'm not touching them just now.
I have even more hours next week. I'm working five days. But the good news is that the days are shorter, for the most part. I guess that's good news. After the summer I had I am worried as fuck about money so I'll probably see how long I can keep it up before I cry Uncle.
Yeah, I am posting late because I just got home :P We had doorbusters tonight and the store was trashed by the time we closed. We had nearly TWENTY carts of reshop x_x IT'S NOT EVEN CHRISTMAS YET. I keep saying this XD Oh lawd, help me.
I have nothing interesting to post about. School is chugging along. I'm making some stuff I'm pretty happy with, but it wouldn't be exciting to anyone that doesn't dig graphic design. X3

So, Team Fortress 2 had an unannounced update yesterday. Included in this update is a seasonal map (koth_harvest_event), seasonal achievements (only valid on koth_harvest_event), and seasonal items (new hats).
Why do I call these seasonal? They only work around Halloween each year. That's right, you now have hats that can only be worn for a few days each year clogging up space in your inventory.
Also included in this update is the normal koth_harvest_final map, a slightly better optimized version of the koth_harvest that we already had on our servers.
Speaking of which, all 3 servers now have koth_harvest_event in their mapcycle... twice on each server.

...comes out on Friday PDT for the PC. Those suckers people who buy the Wii versions will probably have to wait another month, seeing as how the last episode took a month to get to the Wii.
Oh, and why is the PDT there? Because one of the previous episodes (#2) came out in the last evening PDT, so it was actually Saturday in time zones east of it.
BTW: last episode had the return of Murray, the demonic skull... this time we get... Stan, Stan, STAN!
P.S. If you liked the Secret of Monkey Island Flash Film., make sure to watch the various "I Wonder What Happens?" clips on the Tales page for laughs... they're by the same people as the SoMI flash film, but they basically guess what's going to happen in each game based on the trailers and image galleries available for each game before its release.

So, by Valve's crazy moon logic, pre-loading the Left 4 Dead 2 demo actually only pre-loaded 36% of the demo, requiring you to download an additional 64% before you can play the game.
Prehaps someone needs to explain to them what "preloading" means.
I am displeased. Not only was the demo due out yesterday (see the updates to the Valve Time page on their developer wiki), but because I was at work and class for a combined total of 11 hours today (12 counting transit time), the demo's not going to finish downloading before I go to bed.

I want to get trophies. My coworkers were all talking about it and I feel left out so now I want to play some PS3 games to get trophies and to expand my library. Recommend games! I was actually thinking of trying out Prince of Persia because it is very pretty and it looks like a lot of fun. This all began when I was trying to play Borderlands with them. I'm absolutely horrible at that type of game but I got to shoot some things!! Anyway, yeah, my coworker said I hadn't logged in forever so now I will try to show him how awesome I truly am!

Oh man, my new years resolution was to finish games this year. I really need to do that. Oh god. Oh god. Oh god.

I had to answer this one real quick before bed because I'm intrigued by what other people might reply with as well. Feel free to give me your opinion on it.
Basically, I forgive and forget. If you come to me and demonstrate sincere remorse for what you've done, then as far as I'm concerned, it's over and I bury it pretty quickly in the tender folds of my brain. I actually think I'm bad for this. I have had to train myself to stop forgiving people over and over again when they treat me like crap :P On the other hand, I can't stand it when people have to dig shit up over and over again. When it's over, leave it alone!
If you apologize for your behavior and then turn around and do it again, then you're really not sorry. Do people have the capacity to change? I believe they do. If they really want to. What do you all think?
What is the longest I've ever stayed angry with someone? Well, as long as it takes :P If you don't apologize or correct your behavior then fuck it and fuck you. ♥ I guess I should elaborate on that, though. I've been angry at people for upwards of a year before we finally swallowed our pride and worked it out. Sometimes shit doesn't get worked out, and I just believe that means they're not meant to be in my life.
